Efforts continue from several European clubs to sign Moroccan international Hamza Ikeman, a player for Scottish Rangers, following his outstanding season with the team.
According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, French club Lille is leading the race to secure the player, having entered advanced negotiations with Rangers to finalize the deal, driven by a strong desire from the French club to acquire the Moroccan forward during the current summer transfer window.
The same source indicated that the 22-year-old Ikeman has expressed his preliminary agreement, both financially and sportingly, to move to Lille, pending a final agreement between the two clubs on the details of the transfer.
Ikeman caught the eye during the past season after scoring 12 goals in the Scottish league and assisting one goal, while also impressing in European competitions with 4 goals and one assist in the UEFA Europa League, making him a target for several clubs searching for a promising and effective striker.
