Israeli forces struck again on Monday morning, targeting the underground Fordow facility in Iran, which is used for uranium enrichment at a purity of 60%, located roughly 90 meters underground. This attack followed directly after American strikes on the site early on Sunday, employing bunker-buster bombs, according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
A spokesperson for the Crisis Management Authority in Qom Province confirmed to Tasnim: “The aggressor has attacked the Fordow nuclear site once more,” highlighting a clear escalation in operations against the facility.
Commenting on the operation, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated, “The army is striking with unprecedented force at targets linked to the regime and the repressive government apparatus in the heart of Tehran,” asserting that the Israeli airstrikes are aimed at strategic sites in the Iranian capital.
