Fès–Saïs Airport Enhances Preparations to Welcome Moroccans Abroad for "Marhaban 2025" Operation
Fès–Saïs Airport is witnessing intense preparations to accommodate the peak return of Moroccans living abroad during the summer season as part of “Marhaban 2025,” supported by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity. These arrangements aim to provide a warm welcome and ensure smooth transit conditions for travelers.
The airport has bolstered its human, logistical, and technical capacities in coordination with various stakeholders to expedite procedures and facilitate security and customs processes. Travelers will receive appropriate guidance from their arrival. Mohamed Al-Adouli, the head of the technical and navigation department at the airport, emphasized that this mobilization aligns with royal directives aimed at ensuring a comfortable return for Moroccans abroad.
The measures include strengthening guidance and reception teams, organizing passenger movement smoothly, implementing special arrangements for persons with disabilities, ensuring timely baggage delivery, and operating commercial services at the airport in line with flight schedules while providing clear pricing information.
The National Airports Office has set up several communication and assistance channels, including the website www.onda.ma, a 24/7 call center, as well as official social media accounts.
Many travelers expressed satisfaction with the level of welcome and organization, with one traveler with special needs noting that the airport team accompanied her from the moment she disembarked until she retrieved her luggage, describing the conditions as excellent. Another traveler praised the quick procedures and the role of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity teams in facilitating passage.
These efforts are part of ensuring that individuals remain the focus of attention, in line with royal directives to guarantee the dignified, safe, and reassuring return of community members.
The 2025 edition of the Marhaban operation is characterized by an expanded network of reception centers, totaling 26 centers, including 20 within Morocco, distributed across major ports and airports, along with 6 centers in European ports in Italy, France, and Spain.
These centers will provide social assistance and medical care for Moroccans abroad during the period from June 10 to September 15, thanks to the mobilization of over 1,200 social workers, medical staff, and volunteers.
