Casablanca Stock Exchange Ends the Week on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange ends the week with strong performance

The “MAZ” index, the main index of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, recorded a gain of 2.88% during the week from June 23 to June 26, 2025, settling at 18,474.97 points.

The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, increased by 2.94% to 1,511.69 points, while the “MASI.ESG” index, which includes companies with the best sustainability ratings, rose by 2.63% to 1,274.46 points.

Meanwhile, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which tracks the prices of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the exchange, grew by 3.45% to 1,789.42 points.

Trading volume reached approximately 1.96 billion dirhams, primarily in the central market (stocks), dominated by transactions involving Attijariwafa Bank (21.91%), the Casablanca construction company (7.23%), and Maroc Telecom (6.79%).

As for the market capitalization, it exceeded 968.3 billion dirhams, with shares of Attijariwafa Bank accounting for 15.40%, Maroc Telecom for 10.08%, and Energie du Maroc for 7.06%.

In terms of individual stocks, the strongest gains of the week came from “Ab Maroc Com” (+46.36% to 72.04 dirhams), “Involys” (+46.28% to 191.55 dirhams), “Stroc Industrie” (+36.32% to 226.15 dirhams), “Mécanique Oujda” (+24.57% to 541.70 dirhams), and “Med Paper” (+20.45% to 25.27 dirhams).

On the other hand, the largest declines were recorded by “Promopharm” (-5.16% to 1,085 dirhams), “Microdata” (-3.49% to 830 dirhams), and “Afma” (-2.84% to 1,302 dirhams), while several stocks remained stable, such as “Akka” and “Auto Nejma,” along with “Palima.”
