Carlos Alcaraz crowned Roland Garros champion for the second consecutive time
Yesterday, the Spanish player Carlos Alcaraz, ranked second in the world, successfully defended his title as Roland Garros champion, the second Grand Slam tournament of the year, by making a strong comeback against Italy’s Jannik Sinner, the top seed.
The final was a marathon and thrilling encounter lasting five hours and 29 minutes, during which Alcaraz claimed victory with a score of 4-6, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), and 7-6 (10-2).
