A Night of Egypt on Moroccan Soil: Ruby Ignites the Renaissance Stage at the Special Opening of “Mawazine 2025”

In one of the most prominent nights of the twentieth edition of the “Mawazine – Rhythms of the World” festival in 2025, Egyptian artist Ruby illuminated the skies of Rabat with a remarkable performance on the Renaissance stage, captivating the hearts of thousands of her fans who came to enjoy her enchanting appearance and stellar performance.
To the tune of her most famous songs, Ruby opened the festival’s first night amidst an enthusiastic atmosphere and thunderous applause from the crowd. She presented a selection of songs that have made her artistic career shine, marking her first appearance at this significant artistic event.
The concert kicked off with her hit song “Qalbi Blastik,” which has garnered over 80 million views on YouTube. On this occasion, she expressed her overwhelming joy at being in Morocco and conveyed her deep appreciation for the Moroccan audience and its unique artistic taste, praising the rich and diverse culture of the Kingdom.
Throughout the evening, Ruby delighted the audience with several of her popular songs, such as “Leih Bidari Keda,” “Enta Aref Leih,” “Ya Rmoosh,” and “Ya Layali,” accompanied by her musical band, which added a special creative touch to the performance. Ruby appeared perfectly in sync with the audience, who responded enthusiastically, singing along and engaging in every moment of the show.
Ruby excelled in presenting artistic displays where spontaneous feeling blended seamlessly with theatrical precision, transforming the Renaissance stage into a vibrant theater of life and beauty, making the concert a memorable highlight of the festival program.
The Egyptian star concluded her artistic performance with the song “Hetta Tania,” draped in the Moroccan flag, amid great audience enthusiasm, bidding farewell to the Renaissance stage with an expressive artistic display along with her music band.
At the end of the concert, Ruby expressed her immense love for Morocco and pride in participating in the Mawazine festival, which she described as a “global and exceptional event,” emphasizing that her encounter with the Moroccan audience would remain etched in her artistic memory.
It is worth noting that the “Mawazine – Rhythms of the World” festival is taking place this year from June 20 to 28 under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. It features a rich artistic program that brings together the brightest stars of Arab and international music, making the cities of Rabat and Salé a destination for music lovers from around the world.
Organized by the “Morocco Cultures” association since its establishment in 2001, the festival is one of the largest cultural events both nationally and internationally, attracting over two million spectators annually, thus ranking as the second largest music festival in the world.
