Toxic Gas Leak Sends Agricultural Workers from Sidi Allal Tazi to Emergency Care

Toxic Gas Leak Sends Agricultural Workers from Sidi Allal Tazi to Emergency Care
A A

A toxic gas leak on Monday resulted in seven female workers suffering from respiratory distress at a fruit packaging and export facility in the Sidi Allal Tazi area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Kenitra province.

Local sources reported that the workers experienced difficulty breathing while performing their duties, prompting a halt in operations and a call for assistance. Local authorities and civil protection teams responded promptly to the situation.

The affected individuals were transferred to the regional hospital in Zemouri, Kenitra, for essential medical care. Preliminary medical examinations confirmed that their health was stable and not a cause for concern.

While the exact causes of the incident have yet to be determined, the relevant authorities have initiated a field investigation to gather necessary data, pinpoint the source of the leak, and identify any potential responsible parties.
