Personal and Financial Data Theft: A Cybersecurity Platform Exposes the Crimes of Hicham Girando and “Tahadi”
In a recent report, the mercenary website Hicham Girando, known as “Tahadi.info,” has been categorized as a phishing site by the platform “Criminal IP.”
In a media appearance, consultant and expert in social engineering and digital security, Hassan Khrouj, revealed the criminal intentions of this site, which has been classified as “criminal” for its suspicious online activities aimed at stealing users’ personal and financial data.
Khrouj highlighted details from the “Criminal IP” report, which pointed to concerning data indicating that the risk level of inbound threats has escalated to critical. This is coupled with the geographic location of the server in the United States, specifically in the St. Louis area, where there is a complete absence of information regarding the domain owner or the registered country.
Khrouj confirmed that Girando deliberately obscures the true identity of the site, a common practice among those managing phishing campaigns or seeking to collect users’ data without their knowledge. They rely on a media interface that promotes a “financial support” appeal to visitors. However, the underlying agenda seeks to trap visitors to collect their sensitive personal data without any clarification on its fate or how it will be protected. This is executed through “script” technologies to track device information, browser types, geographic location, and “keyloggers,” which are malicious programs that record everything the user types, followed by advanced cookies designed to create a digital profile of the user’s behavior.
