Al-Suwalem Sends Tetouan to the Second Division

The Al-Suwalem sports team achieved a valuable away victory against their hosts, Moghreb Tetouan, with a score of three goals to none, in a match held on Sunday evening at the Sania Raml Stadium, as part of the final round (30) of the professional league.
Kamal Al-Qar’ opened the scoring for Al-Suwalem in the 19th minute, before returning to net the second goal in the 79th minute from a quick counterattack. Kareem Lakroush added the third goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time, concluding the match with a precious victory that placed Al-Suwalem in 14th position, qualifying them for the relegation playoff.
With this win, Al-Suwalem raised their tally to 25 points, securing 14th place, while Moghreb Tetouan’s points remained at 23, placing them in 15th position and relegating them to the second national division.
According to the league format, Al-Suwalem is expected to face the third-placed team from the second division in the playoff match to ensure their survival among the elite clubs for the upcoming season.
