The Royal Armed Forces welcome a Mauritanian medical delegation to enhance military medical cooperation
On April 22, 2025, the Chief Medical Officer, Inspector of the Military Health Service, received a delegation from the Mauritanian Armed Forces and Security at the Headquarters of the General Inspectorate in Rabat. The delegation was led by Colonel Mohamed Taleb Jidou, Director General of the Health Service, accompanied by Colonel Cheikh Tarab Dahya, Director of Medical Affairs.
This visit was organized in implementation of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, as part of strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting served as an opportunity to review the Royal Armed Forces’ experience in military health and explore new avenues for partnership, especially in training and exchange of expertise.
The Mauritanian delegation conducted a tour of several medical facilities at the Mohammed V Military Training Hospital, including the Heart Center, the Center for Virology and Tropical Infectious Diseases, and the Medical Expertise Center for Air Crews.
The visit underscores the Royal Armed Forces’ commitment to openness and collaboration with their counterparts in brotherly nations, reinforcing coordination in vital areas such as military health.
