The Ministry of Transport and Logistics has announced the official launch of the “Safe Bus” program and the program for renewing the vehicle fleet for public transportation services in rural areas, as well as road freight, vehicle recovery, and driving instruction. The ministry has opened electronic registration for these programs, indicating that they have undergone updates regarding the simplification of procedures and overcoming practical difficulties.

The National Road Safety Agency stated that the ministry informs industry professionals that “in the year 2025, the ‘Safe Bus’ program and the vehicle fleet renewal program for public transportation services in rural areas, freight transportation for others, vehicle recovery, and driving instruction will be launched.”

The statement highlighted that “the ‘Safe Bus’ program and the fleet renewal program have seen some updates, particularly regarding the simplification of procedures and overcoming practical challenges that hinder the implementation of these programs in reality.”

In this context, the same source reported that “these updates, as well as the joint decrees, procedures, and document templates adopted for implementing these programs, can be accessed through the platform ‘tajdid-hadira.narsa.gov.ma.’”

According to the statement, the launch of the two programs this year will occur in two phases. The first phase is registration, which will take place “through the platform, starting from May 12, 2025; where registration will be opened on the aforementioned platform for companies that do not have an active account for accessing this platform and wish to benefit from the renewal grant and the vehicle scrapping grant.” The second phase involves submitting applications through the platform, “starting from May 19, 2025; where applications for vehicle renewal and scrapping will begin to be received through the same platform.”

The National Road Safety Agency drew attention to the fact that “accounts created previously, before May 12, 2025, through the same platform remain valid,” adding that “concerned companies can retain them for submitting new requests for the year 2025, at the start of the aforementioned second phase.”

Additionally, applications submitted through the platform before the issuance of this statement, which did not receive commitment for funding, are considered, according to the same source, “void, and industry professionals concerned must submit new applications in this regard through the aforementioned electronic platform.”
