A body was discovered yesterday morning, Thursday, inside an incomplete construction site in the “Vilage” neighborhood of Kenitra, according to local sources.

The deceased, named Hassan, was approximately 40 years old and worked as a street vendor selling cigarettes before he went missing a week ago, prompting his family to search for him in vain.

Sources indicated that a passerby near the construction site was the one who found the body and notified the authorities, who promptly arrived on the scene and opened an investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor.

The deceased’s body has been transferred to the morgue at El Zamouri Hospital for an autopsy to determine the true cause of death, while investigations continue to clarify the circumstances and details surrounding this incident.
