Moroccan Automotive Sector Records Significant Jump in Sales for April 2025
The automotive sales in Morocco witnessed notable growth in April 2025, with the number of units sold reaching 18,149 vehicles. This marks a 35.74% increase compared to the same month last year, which recorded sales of 13,268 units.
The category of private vehicles (VP) experienced a 32.20% increase, with 15,740 units sold this April, up from 11,906 during the same period in 2024. Meanwhile, light commercial vehicles (VUL) showed a strong performance, soaring by 76.8%, as sales jumped from 1,362 in April 2024 to 2,409 units in April 2025.
Since the beginning of the current year, total car sales in Morocco up to the end of April reached 66,321 units, reflecting a 35.49% increase compared to the same period last year, which saw sales of 48,948 units. This positive performance indicates a continuous dynamism in the automotive market in the Kingdom despite economic challenges.
