The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) announced the launch of an open international price tender exceeding 25 million dirhams, aimed at contracting upscale hotel, tourism, and logistics services for hosting high-profile guests from decision-makers in the global tourism sector, alongside esteemed personalities and international journalists.
This initiative is part of efforts to enhance the quality of service and hospitality provided by the office to international delegations, within a comprehensive promotional strategy aimed at establishing Morocco as a global tourist destination.
The office regularly organizes familiarization trips for international tourism stakeholders, including journalists, influencers, travel agents, tour operators, ambassadors, as well as well-known public figures. These initiatives serve as a means to enhance Morocco’s tourism image through high-quality field experiences that achieve tangible media and commercial objectives.
The tender document includes a range of integrated services, including accommodation in luxury five-star hotels, exceptional dining services at carefully selected restaurants, and the organization of cultural, tourism, and entertainment activities that showcase the richness and diversity of Moroccan heritage.
Requested services also encompass the provision of comfortable and modern transportation, multi-lingual tour guidance, along with the possibility of renting meeting and conference rooms as needed. The office has allocated a special clause for the creation of a modern digital platform to monitor operations and analyze performance, while also enabling office staff to receive training on the use of this technical tool.
The ONMT emphasized the necessity of adhering to strict standards that ensure a high level of quality, such as not revealing the provider’s identity to guests, ensuring precise coordination with various stakeholders in the service chain, and providing highly competent reception and guiding staff. The contract also includes clauses related to continuous improvement through experience analysis and ensuring the Moroccan identity is reflected at every stage of hospitality and organization.
