Moroccan Ports Launches “Ports4Impact” Authority to Strengthen Its Commitment to Social Responsibility

Moroccan Ports has established a new independent body called “Ports4Impact” aimed at leading and implementing corporate social responsibility policies. This initiative seeks to inject new dynamics into its community and environmental commitments. The goal of this initiative is to create a more flexible and open intervention framework to engage civil society and project holders, solidifying the group’s ongoing commitment in this area.

“Ports4Impact” is a natural extension of the company’s social strategy, aimed at enhancing Moroccan Ports’ civic approach by improving community interventions and directing them towards sustainable partnerships with a tangible impact. The chosen name reflects Moroccan Ports’ desire to make ports drivers of social, cultural, and environmental impact, alongside their traditional economic role.

This authority will be entrusted with leading current social responsibility projects and launching new ones, while involving local stakeholders in initiatives focused on the environment, social integration, culture, art, and sports, in line with the group’s roadmap and national priorities. Through this step, Moroccan Ports reaffirms its will to support local dynamics and contribute to the development of the areas in which it operates, both domestically and internationally.

This initiative is part of a long-term vision founded on the values of commitment, responsibility, and sustainable performance that have guided Moroccan Ports since its establishment. The group, as the leading national operator in managing maritime quays with 25 docks spread across 11 ports, emphasizes that social and environmental responsibility is at the heart of its strategy by supporting inclusion initiatives, environmental protection, cultural promotion, and national sports development as a lever for growth and youth motivation.
