A A

A collective suffocation incident involving over 40 workers occurred at a factory in the Oussama region of Kenitra, prompting a swift response from local authorities.

According to sources at Express TV, the incident was triggered by an unidentified odor that seeped into the factory from outside, leading to cases of suffocation among the workers, which necessitated urgent intervention by civil protection services.

The same sources reported that the injured were transported to El Zamouri Hospital for necessary medical care. Senior local officials, alongside teams from the national police and local authorities, arrived at the scene to launch an investigation into the incident and ascertain the nature of the substance responsible.

Authorities continue to conduct investigations to determine the source of the odor and the circumstances surrounding this incident, which has highlighted ongoing concerns regarding environmental and health safety within industrial zones.
