Title: Dialogue on Art and Journey

By: Al-Hussein Ibrahim, Visual Artist and Aesthetic Researcher

On the occasion of our solo exhibition "The Desert’s Imprint…" at the artistic gallery of the Iklil Cultural Center in Tangier, organized and overseen by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Advancement of Social Actions in Education and Training from May 16 to June 5, 2025, a small book will be published, comprising 140 pages that contain a beautiful, vibrant, enjoyable, and intriguing group dialogue conducted with a distinguished and prominent selection of aesthetic researchers and art critics—from Morocco and abroad. We extend our gratitude to them. Featured contributors include Talal Ma’la (Syria), Ali Al-Najjar (Iraq), Mohamed Ben Hamouda, Sami Ben Amer, Khalil Qouia (Tunisia), Mostafa Issa, Amal Nasr, and Mohamed Mahdi Hamida (Egypt), Fakhriya Al-Yahyai (Oman), Abdul Rahman Al-Sulaiman (Saudi Arabia), Mohamed Al-Amri (Jordan), and from Morocco: Abdullah Al-Sheikh, Shafiq Al-Zakari, Nour Al-Din Fathi, Binyounes Amirosh, Aziz Azghay, Idris Kathir, Hassan Laghdesh, and Said Karmas.

The book will be presented during the second day, Saturday, May 17, coinciding with a round table discussion on "The Experience of Imprint in Visual Art" moderated by poet and media personality Said Koubrate. Critics, researchers, and artists Shafiq Al-Zakari, Nour Al-Din Fathi, Binyounes Amirosh, Idris Kathir, Abdul Karim Al-Azhar, Said Karmas, Youssef Saadoun, and Hassan Laghdesh will participate, along with a presentation of our book project "Guardians of the Imprint: Arab Painting Experiences" by critic Abdullah Al-Sheikh, who we kindly thank.
