Last night, the emergency department at Zamouri Hospital in Kenitra experienced chaos and panic caused by an individual believed to be under the influence of alcohol. This person verbally and physically assaulted medical staff and hospital workers.

The situation escalated as the individual hurled insults at a security officer inside the hospital and intentionally damaged some hospital property, including light poles. This reckless behavior nearly led to a temporary halt of emergency services and put the lives of several patients at risk.

Witnesses reported that security forces intervened swiftly and, after a significant struggle, managed to apprehend the individual. He was then taken to the police station, where he was placed under provisional detention by order of the public prosecutor.
