Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Trading with a Decline

The Casablanca Stock Exchange commenced trading on Monday with a decline, as its main index, the “MASI,” recorded a decrease of 0.16%, settling at 17,481.05 points.

The “MASI.20” index, reflecting the performance of 20 listed companies, dropped by 0.2% to 1,422.37 points, while the “MASI.ESG,” which tracks the top-rated companies, fell by 0.14%, finishing at 1,204.05 points.

Conversely, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which tracks the price performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, experienced a marginal increase of 0.04%, reaching 1,722.49 points.

Previously, the “MASI” index concluded trading last Friday with an increase of 0.68%.
