Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch held discussions with Kenya’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Rabat. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Morocco and Kenya, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI and Kenyan President William Ruto.
Akhannouch praised the quality of relations between the two countries since Ruto assumed the presidency in September 2022, noting positive developments and increasing dynamism at all levels.
For his part, Mudavadi expressed his country’s desire to strengthen the partnership with Morocco, highlighting the opening of a Kenyan embassy in Rabat as a sign of a mutual commitment to turn a new page in relations, especially in light of the upcoming celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of diplomatic ties.
The Kenyan minister expressed his intention to visit several Moroccan cities to observe their developmental realities, reiterating his country’s eagerness to deepen cooperation and exchange expertise with Morocco in various fields.
