The Wydad Athletic Club has reached a preliminary agreement today with player Hamza Al-Wasti to join the team on a free-transfer deal following the expiration of his contract with Ittihad Tanger at the end of the last football season.
Al-Wasti is expected to sign with Wydad if both parties reach a final agreement regarding all terms of the contract. This move will mark his return to the Red Castle after several years since leaving the club.
The mentioned player is anticipated to become the club’s fourth signing during the summer transfer window, following Burkinabé player Aziz Ki, Nourredine Amrabat, and Hamza El Hanouri.
Al-Wasti is a product of the Wydad academy, having progressed through the various youth levels up to the first team, before embarking on stints with Chabab Mohammedia and Ittihad Tanger.
