Infobip, the global cloud communications platform, has announced a multi-year strategic partnership with the MoneyGram Haas F1 team, aimed at delivering advanced digital experiences and enhancing fan engagement with Formula 1 events worldwide.
This partnership intends to leverage the latest communication and digital interaction technologies to provide real-time, personalized experiences that bring fans closer to the race atmosphere. It brings together two innovators who share a common ambition to push boundaries and achieve excellence, both on and off the track.
Infobip, a leader in interactive messaging in the American market, will deploy its technical expertise to support the Haas team in delivering richer and more interactive fan experiences across multiple channels, including Rich Communication Services (RCS), WhatsApp, and in-app messaging—all powered by advanced artificial intelligence capabilities.
Rich messaging technologies like RCS are experiencing rapid growth in North America and around the world, providing high-quality interactive content that can be leveraged for marketing, customer service, and enhanced communication with fans. These channels will offer the MoneyGram Haas F1 team opportunities to build deeper relationships with fans through experiences tailored to their interests and preferences, such as using smart chatbots for instant information about drivers and performance via messaging apps.
Infobip is Croatia’s first unicorn company, surpassing €1.8 billion in revenue in 2024, and provides innovative communication solutions for major companies like Google and Uber, enabling them to utilize various channels including WhatsApp, RCS, and Apple Messages for Business.
The company also plays a significant role in the automotive sector, collaborating with global brands such as Toyota, Nissan, and Mahindra to develop customer experiences relying on artificial intelligence technologies, from the moment of purchase to after-sales services.
This partnership is set to officially launch during the Miami Grand Prix, taking place from May 2 to 4, 2025, and will continue throughout the racing season with the only American team in the Formula 1 championship, based in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
The MoneyGram Haas F1 team is currently ranked sixth in the constructors’ standings for the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship, preparing for the sixth round of the championship at the Miami International Autodrome in Florida.
In this context, Ayao Komatsu, the team’s technical director, stated, “Infobip, being an engineering company at its core, understands the importance of continuous innovation and the pursuit of results week after week. The rapid growth the company has achieved reflects a shared commitment between us to achieve leadership.”
On his part, Ivan Ostojic, Infobip’s commercial director, remarked, “From Austin to Miami, we at Infobip are dedicated to supporting global brands through rich interactive experiences that enhance audience loyalty. Our data shows that traffic through RCS has experienced unprecedented growth, making it a promising channel capable of transforming the fan experience.”
