Ittihad Riadi Fath’s path in the African Championship, held in Misrata, Libya, ended in the quarter-finals after a defeat on Sunday evening against the Libyan team Al-Suwaihli.
The Libyan club outperformed Ittihad Riadi Fath, who were supported by a large crowd, winning three sets (25-18, 25-25, 11-14).
Al-Suwaihli will face the Rwandan National Army Club in the semi-finals, while the other semi-final match will feature Tunisian side Esperance and Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
