The Moroccan authorities successfully extradited former parliament member Mohamed Bouderka from Germany on Thursday evening, following months of fleeing the country after national arrest warrants were issued against him over serious charges. According to information provided by our colleagues at Barlamane.com, the extradition took place in accordance with precise legal procedures based on a warrant issued by the German judiciary.

Bouderka arrived at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca at 9:42 PM on flight AT 811 from Royal Air Maroc, where he was handed over immediately upon disembarking from the plane to two officers of the General Directorate of National Security, who took him directly to the local prison in Ain Sebaa.

The same source indicates that this extradition came after several arrest warrants were issued against him by the National Judicial Police and the Central Directorate of Judicial Police. The charges include embezzlement of funds and documents, which were recorded on January 28, 2025. Additionally, he faces further prosecution related to issuing repeated bad checks reported on eight occasions between February and December 2024, as well as January 2025, by the Judicial Police in Ain Chock.

Intriguing details reported by Barlamane.com suggest that behind this complicated case looms the figure of Hicham Giando, a fugitive known for his involvement in fraud and dubious mediation for wealthy defendants. Giando is believed to have acted as an intermediary in failed attempts to resolve Bouderka’s legal issues through illicit channels, exploiting his influence in illegal networks.

As Bouderka returns to Morocco under tight security, he is expected to appear before the public prosecutor’s office in the coming days, marking the first step towards what could be a long and complex criminal accountability process.
