“The Autoroute” Issues an Important Announcement for Highway Users in Morocco In a recent statement, “The Autoroute” has shared crucial information aimed at all users of Morocco’s expressways. The announcement highlights essential updates regarding road safety, traffic regulations, and maintenance work that could impact travel plans. It emphasizes the significance of remaining informed and vigilant while on the roads to ensure a safe journey for everyone. Drivers are encouraged to adhere to posted signs and to remain aware of any changes in road conditions.

“The Autoroute” Issues an Important Announcement for Highway Users in Morocco

In a recent statement, “The Autoroute” has shared crucial information aimed at all users of Morocco’s expressways. The announcement highlights essential updates regarding road safety, traffic regulations, and maintenance work that could impact travel plans. It emphasizes the significance of remaining informed and vigilant while on the roads to ensure a safe journey for everyone. Drivers are encouraged to adhere to posted signs and to remain aware of any changes in road conditions.

The National Roads Company of Morocco has announced that it will undertake the dismantling and removal of the old pedestrian bridge located at kilometer point 86PK (between the Sidi Maarouf exchange and the Ain Chock (Tidart) exchange), starting from 10 PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, until 6 AM on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

The company confirmed in a statement that traffic will face a temporary closure between the Sidi Maarouf and Ain Chock (Tidart) exchanges as follows: from 10 PM on Wednesday, April 16, until 6 AM on Thursday, April 17, for the Casablanca – Mohammedia direction.

Traffic will also experience a temporary halt from 2 AM to 4 AM on Thursday, April 17, for the direction from Casablanca to Mohammedia.

The company urged highway users to divert their routes. Those coming from Rabat heading towards Berrechid should exit the Casablanca bypass at the Ain Chock (Tidart) exchange and use the Green City routes to re-enter the highway via the Green City exchange.

For those coming from Rabat heading towards Casablanca, they should exit the Casablanca bypass at the Ain Chock (Tidart) exchange and take Al Hashimi Al Filali Street.

If users are traveling from Rabat towards El Jadida, they should exit the Casablanca bypass at the Ain Chock (Tidart) exchange and use the Green City routes to re-enter the highway at the Green City exchange.

For travelers coming from Berrechid heading towards Rabat, they should exit the Casablanca – Berrechid highway at the Green City exchange and utilize the Green City routes to re-enter the Casablanca bypass at the Ain Chock (Tidart) exchange.

Those coming from Casablanca heading towards Rabat must take Al Hashimi Al Filali Street to access the Casablanca bypass via the Ain Chock (Tidart) exchange.

For highway users coming from El Jadida heading towards Rabat, they should take the Casablanca – Berrechid highway until the Green City exchange, then use the Green City routes to re-enter the Casablanca bypass via the Ain Chock (Tidart) exchange.

The National Roads Company of Morocco has placed directional signs in the necessary locations to ensure better traffic flow.
