The 34th academic council of the Mohammedan League of Scholars will convene next Saturday in Rabat.
The Mohammedan League of Scholars announced in a statement that its 34th academic council will be held next Saturday in Rabat, in accordance with the provisions of the royal decree that established and organizes it.
The statement indicated that the agenda of the council includes a presentation of the literary and financial reports for the year 2024, followed by their approval, as well as discussions about the institution’s activities. Also on the agenda is the presentation of the institution’s work program in the field of “serving Islamic sciences and making them accessible,” in order to strengthen the major choices and uphold the constants of the noble Moroccan Kingdom in terms of belief, doctrine, and behavior, as per the directives of our Lord, the Commander of the Faithful, may God prolong his honor. Additionally, there will be discussions on the projects and programs of research centers and scientific units, as well as the achievements and future prospects of the Generations Centers and Units for Immunization and Support affiliated with the institution.
The same source mentioned that the holding of this 34th general assembly comes as “a contribution to reinforcing the foundations of spiritual security for this safe country, establishing the constants of religious identity, and protecting religious practice in our country from the diversions that now threaten moderation and balance, particularly through social media and other platforms.”
