Express TV: Mustafa Filali

Walid Rekraki, the coach of the Moroccan national team, revealed the conversation he had with Fouzi Lekjaâ, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, indicating that his dream is to win the Africa Cup of Nations.

Rekraki stated in an interview with the Spanish newspaper “AS”: “My goal now is to win the Africa Cup of Nations title and make history with my country. I am hungry to achieve that.”

He continued: “I wanted to leave, and I promised the president (Fouzi Lekjaâ) that I would depart if things did not go well for us.”

He added: “The president told me that you are a competitor, and Morocco wants to win. It has not won in fifty years. Show the people that you are capable of winning. He convinced me and we are on our way to success. We must work hard to make history in this tournament.”
