Morocco Strengthens Its Military Leadership: Military Court Trains Qatari Officers in a High-Level Course

A high-level Qatari delegation, including senior officers, participated in the “Senior Legal Advisors Course” held at the Military Court in Rabat from April 7 to 18, 2025, as part of the growing military cooperation between the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces and their Qatari counterparts.

According to the military affairs website “Far Maroc,” the course program included theoretical and practical lectures on military judiciary law and the role of legal advisors within military institutions, in addition to field exercises supervised by judges from the Military Court.

The Qatari participants were also exposed to the experiences of Moroccan civil and military institutions, including the Ombudsman institution, the Directorate of Criminal Affairs and Pardon at the Ministry of Justice, and the Institute of Forensic Science affiliated with the Royal Gendarmerie.

The organizing parties praised the high level of the Qatari delegation, emphasizing its professional competence and commitment, while the course concluded with an official ceremony to distribute certificates, chaired by the Chief Judge Abdul Karim Hakimi, the Attorney General at the Military Court.

The Qatari delegation also engaged in cultural visits that included historical sites in Marrakech and the tomb of the late King Mohammed V, symbolizing the deep fraternal ties between Rabat and Doha.
