A A

The General Directorate of Taxes has announced the launch of an electronic filing service for requests for waiver or reduction of surcharges and fines, available to users of the “SIMPL” electronic service.

In an official statement, the Directorate confirmed that this service is part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate procedures and bring services closer to citizens through digitalization. It enables citizens to submit, process, and follow up their requests for waiver or reduction of fines and penalties in accordance with Article 236-2 of the General Tax Code, without the need to visit tax offices.

Users can benefit from this service by visiting the website of the General Directorate of Taxes at the following link:
www.tax.gov.ma/SIMPL-Réclamation.

The Directorate further explained that the user guide for this new service is available on the same link in both Arabic and French, providing guidance to users on how to easily benefit from the service.
