Three armed elements of the “Polisario” surrendered this Thursday afternoon to the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces at the security belt in the “Kelta Zamour” area.

According to informed sources, the operation took place shortly after three o’clock in the afternoon, indicating that the individuals involved were in a complete state of surrender and arrived at the security point carrying their full military equipment, with no confrontations or resistance reported.

This step reflects significant contextual developments in the buffer zones east of the wall and raises new questions regarding the internal situation of the “Polisario” Front and the cohesion of its organizational structure.

This incident is one among multiple indicators of the tension characterizing the situation of Front elements in the region, amid increasing cases of defection and surrender in recent months.
