Child Dies in School Bus in Taounate; Public Prosecutor Orders Investigation and Autopsy
Fes – The public prosecutor at the Court of Appeal in Fes has announced the launch of an investigation into the death of a child approximately six years old, who died inside a vehicle that was transporting him to school in the coastal area of Bou Taaher in the Taounate region.
Initial investigations conducted by the judicial police, under the directives of the public prosecutor, revealed that the child died inside the vehicle after the driver exited and left the doors locked. This was a usual daily transport to the educational institution where he works.
The public prosecutor has ordered an autopsy on the child’s body to determine the exact causes of death, while judicial investigations continue under the supervision of the specialized judicial authority to identify responsibilities and determine legal consequences.
