Achraf Hakimi Named in Ideal European XI for the 2024-2025 Season
The British newspaper “The Athletic” has announced the ideal lineup of the best players in Europe for the 2024-2025 season, featuring the Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, a star of Paris Saint-Germain, in the defensive lineup.
Hakimi shone this season thanks to his outstanding performance with his French club, having played 46 matches across various competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 14 assists, confirming his place as one of the top full-backs in global football.
The selection was based on comprehensive evaluations of player performances in major European tournaments and included the following names: in goal, Thibaut Courtois from Real Madrid. In defense, alongside Hakimi were Nuno Mendes from Paris Saint-Germain, Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan, and Virgil van Dijk from Liverpool.
In midfield, the trio consisted of Vitinha from Paris Saint-Germain, Pedri from Barcelona, and Declan Rice from Arsenal, who all had remarkable seasons with their clubs.
