Signing of a Partnership Agreement Between the Moroccan League for the Protection of Childhood and the Ministry of Justice

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Zineb presided over the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement between the Moroccan League for the Protection of Childhood and the Ministry of Justice on Wednesday in Rabat.

According to a statement from the League, this agreement, signed by Princess Lalla Zineb, President of the Moroccan League for the Protection of Childhood, and Minister of Justice Abdellatif Ouahbi, aims to enhance cooperation and partnership in areas related to the protection and preservation of the rights of children deprived of a family environment.

Under the terms of this agreement, both parties commit to intensifying efforts to combat various forms of violence against children and women in vulnerable situations. To achieve the desired objectives, the Ministry of Justice commits to supporting reception centers for children deprived of family care, organizing training sessions for the staff of the League, and providing legal assistance to beneficiaries, in accordance with the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, which call for the establishment of protection mechanisms and social integration for mothers and children in difficult situations.

In her speech on the occasion, Princess Lalla Zineb praised the ongoing support provided by the Ministry of Justice to the League’s institutions and its firm commitment to accompanying and providing legal assistance to the targeted groups.

For his part, Ouahbi highlighted the ambitious vision of Princess Lalla Zineb aimed at improving the care conditions for children deprived of family support and safeguarding their fundamental rights, in line with the spirit and provisions of the Kingdom’s Constitution and international agreements.
