Istanbul Airport ranked as the busiest airport in Europe in April, handling an average of 1,529 flights daily, according to a report by Turkey’s Anadolu Agency published on Monday.
This information comes from the “European Aviation Report” for April, released by the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation.
Following Istanbul Airport, Amsterdam Schiphol came in second with 1,432 daily flights, while London Heathrow took third place with 1,393 flights.
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport ranked fourth with 1,377 flights, and Frankfurt Airport was fifth with 1,347 flights.
