King Mohammed VI congratulates the Moroccan women’s futsal team after winning the Africa Cup
King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to the players of the national Moroccan women’s futsal team following their victory today, Wednesday, in the Africa Cup of Nations “Morocco 2025,” held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
His Majesty praised what he described as a “glorious victory,” affirming that this achievement reflects the continuous development of women’s football in Morocco.
In his message, the King expressed his pride in the team’s success in being crowned the champions of the inaugural edition of the continental tournament, organized for the first time in Morocco, and congratulated the players on securing qualification for the upcoming World Cup, scheduled for later this year in the Philippines.
His Majesty regarded this victory as further confirmation of the growing presence of Moroccan women’s sports at both regional and international levels, as well as the players’ determination to continue achieving commendable results.
