Press Release: Mokwena Leaves Wydad, Benhacham as Head Coach

The management board of Wydad Athletic Club announced that first-team coach Rulani Mokwena has been granted exceptional leave following the team’s final match in the professional league, due to the considerable psychological pressures he has experienced recently.

In a statement, the club confirmed that the contractual relationship with coach Rulani will officially end immediately after the completion of the league, in full compliance with the contract terms between both parties, with no financial compensation other than the payment of outstanding monthly salaries.

The club has appointed sports director and national coach Amine Benhacham to lead the first team during this transitional period, wishing the former coach success in his future endeavors.
