The Moroccan national football team has maintained its eighth position in the FIFA World Rankings, leading in the Arab world with a score of 1755.87 points. This follows their first victory under new coach Mohammad Wahbi, winning 2-1 against Paraguay in Lens, after drawing 1-1 with Ecuador.

France has topped the FIFA World Rankings for the first time since winning the 2018 World Cup, thanks to victories in friendly matches against Brazil and Colombia, just weeks ahead of the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Coach Didier Deschamps’ men handed Brazil a significant 2-1 defeat and repeated the feat against Colombia with a 3-1 win in matches held in the Americas.

France advanced to the top of the ranking with 1877.32 points, just ahead of European champions Spain, who managed a goalless draw with Egypt on Tuesday after defeating Serbia 3-0 the previous week.

Kylian Mbappé and his teammates have not held the number one ranking since September 2018, following their second World Cup win in Russia.

Argentina, led by superstar Lionel Messi, surged past Zambia with a 5-0 victory and is gearing up to defend its title in the summer tournament. They dropped to third place with 1874.81 points, trailing France by 2.5 points.
