Strengthening Economic Partnership Between Morocco and Mexico at International Meeting in Mexico City
The tenth international meeting of leaders for a better world highlighted the dynamic economic cooperation between Morocco and Mexico during a gathering at the residence of the Moroccan ambassador in Mexico City.
Ambassador Abdel Fattah Lebbar emphasized that the economic relations between the two countries are experiencing renewed momentum, driven by the exchange of trade delegations and enhanced communication among economic actors, alongside the signing of cooperation agreements between key institutions.
He noted that this progress is further supported by the establishment of a Moroccan-Mexican Chamber of Commerce, a step aimed at institutionalizing the economic partnership and facilitating joint investments, while also taking into account the geo-strategic positions of both countries, with Morocco serving as a gateway to Africa, and Mexico acting as a bridge to North and Latin American markets.
For her part, Maria del Carmen Gonzalez Camacho called for expanding communication channels between the two sides, highlighting the importance of cooperation and integration to face global challenges and strengthen multilateral efforts.
The forum, which brings together players from politics, economics, and social work, aims to solidify international dialogue and contribute to building a more just and sustainable world. Since its inception ten years ago, it has gathered leaders from over 70 countries and established a global network of professionals, researchers, and actors from various fields.
This edition witnessed the participation of prominent figures from different sectors, focusing on the role of innovation and inclusion in achieving sustainable development, showcasing opportunities for bilateral cooperation, and concluding the events with the honoring of international figures for their contributions in various domains.
