Royal Army Qualifies for Champions League Semi-Finals

The Moroccan Royal Army team has secured a spot in the semi-finals of the African Champions League, demonstrating its superiority over its Egyptian hosts, Pyramids FC, with a valuable victory of 2-1 in the second leg of the quarter-finals held at the Cairo Air Defense Stadium.
The first half concluded with the Moroccan team leading 1-0, thanks to a goal from player Reda Slim in the ninth minute, giving his team an early advantage.
In the second half, the Royal Army extended its lead with a second goal from player Harimot in the 54th minute, drawing closer to qualification. However, Pyramids FC did not give in easily, managing to reduce the deficit through player Mayeli in the 63rd minute, igniting the match’s intensity in the final minutes.
Despite Pyramids’ intense attempts to equalize, the Royal Army maintained its lead until the final whistle, confirming its superiority in the aggregate score of 3-2 across both legs, noting that the first match in Morocco ended in a 1-1 draw.
With this victory, the Royal Army sets a date for the continental semi-finals, awaiting the performance of the RS Berkane team against Al Hilal from Sudan.
