Olympic Safi Organizes Direct Train for Fans to Casablanca for Wydad Match
Olympic Safi has announced the organization of a special train service for its fans to facilitate their travel to Casablanca in order to support the team in its match against Wydad Athletic Club in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals.
The club stated in an official statement that this initiative was coordinated with local authorities and in partnership with the National Office of Railways. A direct train will be allocated for the match day, round trip, to ease fans’ transportation and encourage them to attend in large numbers to support the team.
The journey will depart from the city of Safi at 11:05 AM on Sunday, with the return trip scheduled for after the match at approximately 00:32 AM, with an expected arrival back in Safi around 04:52 AM. The ticket price has been set at 100 dirhams per person, covering both ways.
The club indicated that details on how to benefit from this service will be announced later, emphasizing its commitment to providing the best travel conditions for its fans.
In conclusion, the management of Olympic Safi urged its supporters to act responsibly and respect organizational arrangements to ensure the success of this initiative and to reflect a positive image of the Safi fans.
The club also confirmed the allocation of buses to transport fans from the “Louazzis” train station to Mohammed V Stadium, both ways, to facilitate access to the stadium for this important match.
