Marrakech: 175 Units of Fireworks Seized Before the Match Between Kawkab Marrakech and ASFAR
The Marrakech Security Services succeeded in thwarting smuggling and trafficking operations involving prohibited fireworks on Wednesday, March 4, just before the football match between the local team and ASFAR.
Security data revealed that the first operation led to the arrest of three individuals caught red-handed with 132 units of fireworks and flares. The second operation, prompted by advertisements on social media for the sale of these fireworks, resulted in the arrest of two people in possession of an additional 43 units.
The suspects were subjected to investigation under the supervision of the relevant judicial authorities to uncover the circumstances of the case and determine any possible extensions of these criminal activities, while enhancing security measures to ensure the safety of the crowd during the match.
