Exclusively | The Federation Presents Wahbi as Coach of the National Team Next Thursday
In a special follow-up on the latest developments regarding the national team, “Express TV” learned that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation will officially introduce Mohammed Wahbi as the head coach of the national team during a press conference scheduled for next Thursday, marking the beginning of a new era for the “Lions of the Atlas.”
Wahbi’s selection is part of the Federation’s aim to instill confidence in a young national talent who has gained significant experience within the national team setup. He previously led the U-20 team to a World Cup victory and is well-acquainted with the dynamics of the group and the specific characteristics of the players, which is expected to facilitate a smooth transition and maintain technical stability.
Immediately following his official introduction, Wahbi will begin preparing for the training camp in March, which will represent the first practical test for the new coaching staff and an opportunity to outline the technical project for the forthcoming phase.
In this context, the technical staff is expected to include individuals with European expertise alongside national talents, reflecting the Federation’s commitment to creating the best conditions for success in this new chapter.
