Kalamim and Wadi Nun Region Welcomes Over 36,000 Tourists in 2025

The hotel units, accommodations, and classified tourist clubs in the Kalamim and Wadi Nun region received a total of 36,626 tourists in 2025, according to data released by the regional tourism delegation.

The data revealed that the number of resident tourists reached approximately 26,012, primarily distributed across the provinces of Kalamim, Sidi Ifni, and Tan-Tan, compared to 10,614 non-resident tourists.

Various classified tourist accommodation establishments in the region recorded a total of 60,118 overnight stays, reflecting a 3% decrease. Of these, 41,385 nights were for resident tourists, while 18,733 were for non-residents.

Geographically, the Kalamim province led in arrivals with about 21,767 tourists, marking an increase of 3%. It was followed by Sidi Ifni with 9,425 tourists, also showing similar growth, while Tan-Tan welcomed 5,434 tourists, experiencing a decline of 26%. The provinces recorded 34,845 overnight stays in Kalamim, 16,356 in Sidi Ifni, and 8,917 in Tan-Tan, respectively.

As for non-resident tourists, the report indicated that most came from France, totaling around 3,820, followed by Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the United States, among others.

The occupancy rate across various classified hotel units and accommodations in the region dropped by two percentage points in 2025, stabilizing around 20%.
