Chinese Investment of 21 Billion Strengthens Tangier Tech as a Hub for Medical Industries in Morocco

The Chinese company Jiangsu Aishelun Medical Technology Group Co., Ltd, specializing in the design, manufacture, and marketing of medical devices and health equipment, has approved an increase in its investment in Morocco to 20 million euros (approximately 215 million dirhams) as part of its indirect branch at the Mohammed VI Technopole “Tangier Tech.”

In an official statement, the company confirmed that the decision was made following a board meeting, noting that the significant increase in investment compared to last summer’s ceiling of 5 million euros aims to acquire property, complete industrial facilities, and gradually start operating the factory.

This project is seen as an essential step to enhance Tangier Tech’s position as a leading industrial platform in the fields of medical and health technology, contributing to the creation of specialized job opportunities and the transfer of modern technology to Morocco. This aligns with the kingdom’s strategy to attract foreign direct investments and develop high value-added sectors.

This initiative reaffirms Chinese investors’ confidence in Morocco’s investment environment and the country’s ability to host advanced industrial projects capable of exporting to European and African markets. It enhances the competitiveness of national industry and strengthens Morocco’s position as a high-tech industrial hub regionally.
