Health Minister Welcomes New Batch of People with Disabilities and Affirms Ministry’s Commitment to Inclusion and Justice

The Minister of Health and Social Protection welcomed the fifth group of new employees with disabilities during a communication meeting held at the ministry’s headquarters yesterday. The event was attended by several central administration officials and was characterized by an atmosphere of direct dialogue, listening, and solidarity.

This appointment includes 42 positions filled through a unified competition for people with disabilities for the year 2025, in line with the directives of the Head of Government and according to the applicable legal and regulatory procedures.

In his opening speech, the Minister emphasized that this initiative reinforces the principles of fairness and equal opportunities, reflecting the state’s commitment to enhancing the professional and social integration of people with disabilities within the civil service.

The Minister stressed that competence and commitment are the primary criteria, noting that people with disabilities represent genuine human resources capable of making significant contributions to the development of public services and serving the common good.

He explained that reforming the national health system places human resources at its core, reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to providing suitable working conditions for the new employees, ensuring administrative and professional follow-up, and implementing measures to facilitate smooth integration into the work environment while safeguarding their full rights.

The meeting concluded with the Minister congratulating the new employees on their perseverance and strong will, urging them to engage actively in their roles and contribute to improving the quality of health services provided to citizens, based on values of solidarity, teamwork, and social justice.

This event reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to make public administration an open and inclusive space that promotes social integration and enshrines equality in access to job opportunities, in line with constitutional principles and public policies with a social dimension.
