The government council, chaired by Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, approved the dissolution and liquidation of the National Agency for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, alongside the implementation of salary increases for traditional education and the establishment of a fee for the dissemination of legal information.
At the outset of its session, the government approved draft law No. 38.25 concerning the dissolution of the National Agency for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, presented by the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation. This decision is part of the implementation of the Framework Law No. 51.17 related to the education, training, and scientific research system, aimed at enhancing integration and alignment between higher education and research institutions, while improving performance and governance, in accordance with Framework Law No. 50.21 regarding the reform of public institutions and enterprises.
The project seeks to transform the agency into a university institution affiliated with Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, enabling the integration of its research assets into the higher education and research system.
The council also approved draft decree No. 2.25.1105, which establishes a fee for services provided by the Center for the Dissemination of Legal Information, affiliated with the Ministry of Justice.
