Title: Phosphate Exports Grow by 13.8%
The Office of Foreign Exchange reported that phosphate and its derivatives exports reached 87.14 billion dirhams by the end of November 2025, marking a growth of 13.8% compared to the same period last year.
In its latest publication on the monthly indicators of external trade for 2025, the Office attributed this performance to an increase in sales of “phosphate” (up 28.9%), “phosphoric acid” (up 14.6%), and “natural and chemical fertilizers” (up 11.7%).
Regarding the aviation sector, its exports improved by 8.5% to over 26.26 billion dirhams, benefiting from an uptick in sales of “assemblies” (up 8.8%) and “Electric Wire Interconnection Systems” (EWIS) (up 8.1%).
Conversely, the Office’s bulletin revealed declines in exports from several sectors, including “agriculture and food industries” (down 0.2%), “automobiles” (down 3.1%), “textiles and leather” (down 4.7%), and “electronics and electricity” (down 8.7%), respectively.
By the end of November last year, total exports increased by 1.8% to reach 423.54 billion dirhams.
