Advanced Operational and Security Coordination Between the Royal Armed Forces and the United Nations Mission

In the context of the regular meeting between the Royal Armed Forces and the United Nations Mission in the southern regions to discuss cooperation and joint coordination mechanisms, General Mohammed Berrid received General Fakhri Al-Ahsan, the commander of the UN mission, on Thursday at the headquarters of the Royal Armed Forces in Agadir.

A statement from the General Command of the Royal Armed Forces noted that this meeting served as an opportunity to discuss the activities of the UN mission in the southern regions and to review the achievements of cooperation between the two sides in several vital areas.

The statement added that the officials praised the exceptional levels achieved in the field of coordination, particularly in operational and security aspects, as well as in mine clearance and logistical support, reflecting the robustness of the existing partnership and the commitment of both parties to enhancing stability and security in the region.
