Trump Declares the War in Ukraine is Nearing Its End
President Donald Trump confirmed on Sunday that diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine have reached their “final stages.”
This confirmation came during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss a new peace plan.
Trump stated, “I believe we are at the final stages of the talks, and we will see what happens; otherwise, it will drag on for a long time,” adding that he does not have a deadline for this process.
He emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he spoke with by phone prior to his meeting with Zelensky, is “very serious” about peace.
Trump also assured that there would be a “strong agreement” to ensure Ukraine’s security, which will include European countries.
