The Public Prosecution Authority, in partnership with the Higher Institute of Information and Communication, launched the third training course for official spokespersons of the Public Prosecution Offices at the courts of the kingdom on Monday in Rabat. The course, titled “Techniques for Managing Relations with Media and Digital Communication,” will last for five days, from December 1 to December 5, 2025.
The course aims to equip participants with modern skills for effective institutional communication with various media outlets and audiences in the digital space. The opening ceremony was chaired by Hicham Belouali, the Attorney General at the Court of Cassation and Head of the Public Prosecution Authority, and Abdelatif Ben Safia, Director of the Institute.
More than 230 judicial officials and their deputies from various Public Prosecution Offices are participating in this course, reflecting the Public Prosecution Authority’s commitment to enhancing the capability of its personnel in media and digital communication. On the opening day, a cooperation agreement was also signed to strengthen collaboration in training and research, as well as to organize joint events on issues of mutual interest.
The course program focuses on several key areas, including the roles and functions of the official spokesperson, writing and journalistic editing, digital communication, and media training. It employs an interactive methodology that combines theoretical presentations, practical exercises, and case studies, in addition to hands-on sessions in the institute’s radio and television studios, allowing participants to simulate the media environment and gain direct field experience.
